Seven Years Bad Luck

This mirror was dropped onto concrete in order to get a natural broken pattern. The pieces were then put back together like a puzzle, and soldered together using the traditional copper foil technique. Many of the break lines were left in the glass to emphasize the pattern.

A beveled edge was created for the panel that measures 12 inches by 30 inches.
